Narcissist's eyes
Where the true beauty lies
Where all sense of rationality meets its demise
And time fades into insignificance
As faded flowers begin to release perfect floral fragrances
A true artist he captures her every silhouette of beauty
Her desperation, Her fragility
Her all too long repressed domineering, bossy beast
In his eyes she can finally see what she desperately needed to see
a photographic image of a gorgeous girl
Then she stared a little more til she glimpsed sight of his core
And lo and behold it was not what everyone else saw
In this hypnotic state she made a fatal mistake
beneficial buddies had somehow transformed into soul mates
Disillusioned imaginings of perfect dates
Armageddon’s rescue crew of two
Blessed by a soul renewed
Unrequited love confused
Dizzy spells and kiddy tunes
Smurfs songs and Sunday school melodies
Help retain her sanity
No more kisses of vanity
No more prince charming bull
No more life support
Narcissist its not your fault
Her soul distraught before she caught
Herself staring deeply into the depths of your eyes.
