Night ( 32 Views)
written by : ahansa
The thick white fog slowly starts to creep in
Ominous and eerie
As day changes into a black coat with tiny diamantes
The air still and animals exult from the reprieve of the days heat
Frogs croak in tune with the crickets and night owls
An orchestra unfolds in the silence of night
Nocturnal creatures come out to play
Summoned by the moon
Bushes and thickets come alive with the sound of hunters looking for dinner
Creatures that shy away from the bright sun revel in the night
Taking it through until the early rays of the sun start peeping through the horizon
Time to pack up and fill your bellies
Mothers scurry back to their dens where little ones await a fresh meal
The hunters make the most of their kills before the daylight robbers revel in their morning find
The orchestra packs up for the night and the fog slowly disappears making way for a new dawn
As the moon furthers itself from us and nights cloak of diamantes dims lighter and lighter
Night never ceases to amaze
Night just as day brings with it splendor
